Maximiliano A. Ardon, Assistant Soccer Coach, brings a heartfelt passion for soccer and a deep commitment to faith-driven coaching. Originally from Honduras, Ardon earned his GED in the USA and has dedicated himself to serving through sport, even as he continues his educational journey. Ardon’s love for soccer and his belief that God has called him to coach at Nelson helps to fuel his purpose. He joined Nelson University to fulfill God’s will, seeing his role as an opportunity to serve and guide young athletes in alignment with divine purpose. His coaching philosophy centers on teaching players that their talents are gifts from God, to be used for His ministry. By emphasizing faith in every aspect of life and sport, Coach Ardon helps athletes understand that their efforts and achievements are part of God’s plan, fostering spiritual and personal growth alongside athletic development. With 14 years of coaching experience at Christ's Church of the Valley (CCV), Coach Ardon has worked with both boys’ and girls’ teams, achieving significant success, including four State Cup championships and three semifinal appearances. Now, as an assistant coach for Nelson University’s Men's soccer program, Coach Ardon continues to inspire players, instilling faith, discipline, and a sense of purpose to help them achieve what God has prepared for them.
